Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MarketTrace web app and the MarketTrace iOS and Android apps (together, the "Service"), operated by MarketTrace ("we", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What the Service does

MarketTrace tracks public posts from public figures' accounts on X, Truth Social, and Bluesky that you choose to add to your watchlist, and pairs each post with a snapshot of market prices around the time it was posted. Post content shown in the Service is reproduced from publicly available social media posts — we don't write it, endorse it, or verify its accuracy, and displaying it isn't an endorsement of the account or its views.

Not financial advice

MarketTrace is an informational tool. Price data and post timing are provided for reference only and are not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Market data may be delayed, delisted, or inaccurate. You're solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information in the Service.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and keep your credentials confidential.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app, or by emailing us — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service (e.g. attempting to disrupt monitoring infrastructure, or automated abuse of the API).

Subscriptions and billing

MarketTrace Pro is an auto-renewing subscription available monthly or annually. Depending on platform, it's billed through Apple's App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or BTCPay:

• Subscriptions automatically renew for the same length and price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your payment method is charged through whichever store or processor you subscribed with — manage or cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple ID settings, and a Play subscription in the Google Play Store app.
• Prices match across platforms at the time of publishing, but each store's own price tiers and currency conversion apply.
• Refunds are handled according to the policy of whichever platform processed the payment (Apple, Google, Stripe, or BTCPay), not directly by us.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including its monitoring or notification systems
• Reverse-engineer the apps beyond what's permitted by applicable law

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that price/post data will always be accurate or timely.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarketTrace isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any financial decisions made using information it displays.

Changes to these Terms

If these Terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
